Flexible Schedule

photoThe new OU/EDI curriculum and schedule has been reengineered in response to the evolving needs of the economic development community.

The central focus of OU/EDI continues to provide ED professionals and those aspiring to the ED profession the tools, skills and knowledge to be successful economic developers and positively impact their communities.

We also recognize that for some, credentialing is an important element to their professional success. The changes to the curriculum ensure that both of these objectives can be met.

The program of study remains 117 hours offered over three one-week sessions. OU/EDI participants select a program of study based on meeting their needs. There are two programs of study options.

  • Generalist program of study - offers you more control over your curriculum.

  • Areas of Concentration program of study - meets the Professional Development Requirements necessary to sit for the CEcD

Both programs of study prepare you to be a successful ED professional.
