IMPORTANT: Travel convenience is not considered
to be an emergency. When making travel arrangements, participants should plan to arrive prior to start of classes which begin mid-day on Sunday and not depart before the last class ends at 5:30pm on Thursday.
Definitions
- Business
Emergency - one in which a client, the superior
of a participant, or an elected officer of his/her
organization contacts the OU/EDI Director or Dean
of the institute with a request for
resolving a business need.
- Family Emergency - serious
illness of spouse, children or parents; death
of an immediate family member (grandparents,
parents, spouse, children).
- Illness - sickness serious enough to cause the
student to require the services of a
physician.
Completion Requirements
Completion of The University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute requires 117 hours of course work which is accomplished by attending three sessions of OU/EDI.
